The First Year Experience

The Freshmore Experience is the new initiative on campus brought by Title V Project, and the first course is known as “FEP 101”. Intended to give incoming freshmen all the tools necessary for academic success, financial and time management, study habits, interpersonal relations and life engagement activities.

Apart from the human resources available to achieve the objectives the technology component is added through a network of purpose: “Mi Camino en Sagrado”.

It is important that the Faculty of the course, learn, explore and manage “Mi Camino en Sagrado” because among other features allows you to:

Ø Read and comment on articles, ranging from issues of academic skills for college success through interpersonal relationships to time management. Message Center: send, receive and store messages. View "friends." Manage your blog.

Ø Start a topic on the last class or the next, or any favorite subject and know what other people think. To promote participation and feedback between teachers and students.

Ø Create an interest group and invite others to join.

Ø Goal setting is the best way to achieve what you want in your life. Find out what students are trying to achieve. Set goals and start implementing them.

Ø Blogs are an excellent tool to provide a space for exchange, interaction of users with each other, contributing opinions and ideas. They become an inexhaustible source of resources using new technologies. Where everyone can put their own point of view on various topics, personal experiences, their concerns and thoughts about everything that concerns you or that you find interesting.

The resources accessible from this page (portal.sagrado.edu) are designed to assist you as you prepare for and teach your First-Year Experience class.

We hope that the Faculty enter the page and use all these tools!
