Today Mr. J. Fazzi came to Puerto Rico to demonstrate Education Dynamics, with its student portal, monitoring system and health and wellness modules. We are seriously considering purchasing at least the student portal from Education Dynamics. This is an unique service that would save us much web development work, and would serve as a central clearinghouse for student information and service.
One problem we are having with the interface and the health modules is the language. The modules are not translated into Spanish. Education Dynamics offers to translate them, but it is not clear if they will charge for the translation. Our decision, favoring this or another vendor, should be ready for the last week of February. Time must be allowed for the purchasing process, and training should begin in May.
