The Tr@in-ing is finally moving...

On January 21st, members of the Instructional Development Unit met to establish some kind of common sense about the preparation of the training sessions we have to give to the University of the Sacred Heart professors as part of the Title V Project goals and objectives. In this meeting we decided to divide the training sessions in 2 dimensions, the instructional tools provided by Moodle and the technological tools we must search in the web to integrate in the selected courses.

We understood professors must comprehend the right use of all the tools that Moodle provides them, before we start recommending these professors new gadgets. As a team we must we are going to design an electronic guide in order to set standards for every online course @ USC. This guide will provide instructional content about the tools provided by Moodle, tutorials of how to use this tools and the one we´re going to research in their courses, etc. Between my assignments are researching all the discussion boards in Moodle.org looking for new gadgets integrated to the platform Moodle and start revising the 6 selected courses we are going to help design for the Title V Project.

This is going to be a very interesting week...see ya´soon...
