In May I prepared and submitted all of the documents required for the travel and Registration arrangements for Luis Rojas and Wally Alvaranza to attend the eLearningdevcon Pre Conference workshops and the Conference, in Utah. Also prepared and submitted the documents required for the Registration of two of the Project’s Administrative personnel to attend professional development activities offered by the Association of Sales and Marketing Executives of Puerto Rico.
The Requisition for the payment of stipends to the Focal Group students was submitted. I checked the status of the Requisition for the three student services desktop computers and the laptop for the Project Director, which was submitted in April 4, 2011, and the status of Requisition for a software Program needed by the Project’s Computational Analyst Programmer, which was submitted in March 7, 2011.
The Project Director’s travel expense Report of the trip to the Title V Project Directors’ Meeting in Washington DC, was submitted.
Met with the Project Director and Laura Cotte, Director of the External Resources Office to discuss possible Budget cut alternatives if the Project’s Budget is reduced by the USDE, in the next four years, and other issues.
Reviewed the information in the 2011 Grantee Sourcebook, and in other documents that were distributed to the Project Director during the Title V Project Directors’ Meeting in Washington, DC.
Worked on a draft letter about the use of the Project’s unexpended funds to be sent by Dr. Jose J. Rivera, to the USDE Title V Team Leader. Draft was revised and sent by the USC President to the USDE.
Communicated with the architect in charge of the design and supervision of the remodeling of the Student Services Facilities to clarify the estimated costs for the project. Met with the Project Director to review the construction estimated costs and submitted the documents required by the Administrative Offices to proceed with the construction contracts.
