Back to reality!

¡Back to reality!

This is the feeling when you have a good time and the summer is over. But for the FEP 101 students, the summer is the reality. This semester began with the Summer Orientation 2011 and I’m going to tell you how it was.
First of all, we based our activities in an investigation for best practices in other universities around the world. They made different activities for their student, but they all have something in common, looking for the sociability for the student. Is important to say, that when you are in the transition from high school to college is that you lose some friends and you are far away from your family. Is difficult for a young student the feeling of been alone in a new step of their life. That’s why we made the activities thinking about they should know each other. Then, we think about the “Prepas” problems, is that they don’t know where the class room is, don’t know different services the university provide and they are forced to ask, so EVERYBODY know they are “prepas”. This is why we think about do something about it. Then we think about the “Mi camino en sagrado”, what they should know about it, before the course began. They should know the importance about their emails account and how to activate it and surf in the portal.sagrado.edu. This is the principal reason to making activities for our students in the summer orientation 2011. Here’s the schedule:
