I'm a rock star!!

2 weeks ago I was reviewing & testing web tools alongside my fellow instructional designers...then I gave a mini-training sessions about presentation tool Prezi to part of the Title V staff...now everybody wants me to teach them this and other web tools jajaja that's great for me!! Also, it tells me I have to step up to the challenge and get prepared the most I can. Obviously, I wouldn't have answers for every doubt but I will do my best.

In other topics, DEDOS staff is preparing itself to host the "21st century education's tendencies" exposition on April 6 in order to establish some kind of context to our online courses design. I think this experience will help us understand incoming USC's freshmen learning skills and instructional technology uses.

Also among our priorities is to prepare the Professional Development classroom with all the equipment we have received. An interactive LCD TV and a SmartBoard will be the cornerstone of the classrooms alongside 25 mini-MAC computers. And we didn't even have mention the Tricaster. The most important step for us is to establish the uses for all this equipments, some kind of politics that can assure us the maximization of the educational value of these tools.
