The road ahead for us...

As you know, September and October were months in which much of my energy and knowledge were focused in the Articulate Studio 09 workshops. Despite that, I was able to sneak out and do some stuff worth telling.

@ the end of September, there were some efforts to introduce faculty members and administrative personnel in the world of mobile technology. As part of those efforts I participated as a resource in the workshop "Tablet Time". Showing the audience how to work properly with mobile devices such as the iPad and the iPhone and teaching them how to use mobile applications as Instagram, Keynote, Adobe Reader and Pages in the teaching-learning process was a great experience and a chance to see were faculty stands in the adoption of mobile technology.

Also, I worked with Title V colleague Karina Peroña the development of a rubric to evaluate the usability of the learning objects designed and created by USC's faculty members. The rubric was developed in order to evaluate the design, efficiency, instructional purpose and overall performance of the learning objects. We hope this rubric guides DEDOS in the design and creation of more complete learning objects.
