USC knows it...Puerto Rico knows it...we got talent!

…this week, Puerto Rico witnessed the talents DEDOS staff possesses. As part of the official presentation of the New High School Graduate Student Profile made by USC’s IPEDCO, DEDOS was able to collaborate in many creative and innovative things that can help our country’s population understand how to use this profile. First, the instructional design of the profile’s website –ipedco.org- was made by me last year when I was still working for IPEDCO. Then, even Puerto Rico’s governor was impressed by an interactive book of the profile made by the Multimedia and Visual Arts unit of DEDOS…that’s how we do things here!

But why we are telling you this? It gives you an idea what to expect from us as a team…pure creative thinking, innovation and dedication. Recently, we began designing our Faculty Training and Online Courses Design Guide, which will help us design online courses, tutorials about how web tools work and training sessions. We are looking to set a standard on how USC’s online courses should be, obviously been Title V Project Online Courses our priority…which tools should an online course possess, which activities will enhance our students learning process, what technological skills should a professor possess…

As part of this process, we have been reviewing and testing some tools that we look to incorporate into the training sessions we hope to give to USC’s professors. We showed you l@st week WiZ IQ…but we can’t tell you other tools we have tested! Not yet...
